 Abstract: Under the guidance of the book “psychology” and “education”, and with the purpose of authentic teaching in primary school, we made a tentative investigation about 100 students of Grade Five in the primary school in English class based on questionnaire. And we found there were about 8 percent underachievers among them. We found some solutions to solve underachievers’ psychological action in English class. Now not only the Ministry of Education pays a lot of attention to the underachievers but also the teachers are committed to give love and understanding to the underachievers. Teachers do the research of class regulation and the essence of underachievers in order to help them.

[摘要]：本文在《心理学》、《教育学》的指导下，以小学英语实际教学为出发点，开展问卷调查的基础上，对温州洞头县倪南义务教育学校四年级的学生在外语课堂上的心理活动进行了初步了解和观察。教育部对后进生非常关注。“教学实践中，教师们积极投身于‘用爱转化后进生’的行动中，开始赋予后进生相当多的关爱和理解。
